The Brookshire Vineyard is located on a hillside just over the border from Calistoga. The main soil type found in our Syrah block is called the Los Robles series. The Los Robles soil series consists of very deep and deep well drained soils formed in material weathered from basalt and andesitic rocks. The interesting volcanics that created this landscape help shape the Syrah that we offer you today.
